Nestled close to the northern frontier with Ecuador, Mancora is a haven for sun lovers and surfers alike. Mancora is very user-friendly and the warm seas and golden beach never disappoint, so why not relax after a long flight (or a long hike in the mountains!) at Peru’s premier beach destination?
Day 1: Mancora: Arrival
Upon arrival in Mancora, or at Tumbes airport, we transfer you to Hotel Las Arenas, a quiet, family-owned hotel, located on the beach and with its own swimming pool: a great place to relax.
Day 2: Mancora
You have the day free to enjoy Mancora and its surroundings: for the adrenaline-junkies, there are some of the best surfing waves in South America, as well as kite-surfing instruction, sea kayaking, horse-riding and bikes for hire.
For the less active, there are nearby mud baths that can be reached by mototaxi; and of course, there is plenty of room on the beach for sunbathing!
Day 3: Mancora
Another day to enjoy the above. Incidentally, like many surfer towns, Mancora has a vibrant nightlife.
Day 4: Mancora: Departure
Today we transfer you to the bus station or airport for your onward travel.
NB. Mancora is an addictive place, so if you want more time here, this can easily be arranged: e-mail info@chimuadventures.com for details.
