Iquitos, in north east Peru sits on mighty Amazon river. The town is arguably the most remote in the world and there are no road connecting it to other towns. The only way in is via boat or plane.
Flights are not included in this tour.
Day 01: IQUITOS – CEIBA TOPS:
Arrival tat Iquitos airport, brief city tour and transfer to the port located at the Amazon River to take boat towards Ceiba Tops. Arrival to lodge, in the afternoon walk around the primary forest to see the huge trees, such as the Ceiba. Dinner and then local music at bar or hear legend stories about the rainforest told by guides. Overnight. (L-D).
Day 02: CEIBA TOPS:
Early excursion for watching birds.
Breakfast. Visit to the Yagua Native Group, where you will learn about their culture and the impact caused by the arrival of the Spaniard and rubber gatherers. Afterwards, demonstration in the use of the “cerbatana”, (local hunting blowpipe) and time to appreciate local crafts. Lunch.
On the way back to the lodge, trip by boat to look for pink dolphins. In the afternoon, excursion to the riverside town of Indiana and appreciate the sunset. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: CEIBA TOPS – IQUITOS:
Breakfast. Boat or hiking excursion through the Jungle, otherwise free time to enjoy the lodge facilities. Transfer to Iquitos for your flight to Lima. (B).
